Chocolate Caramel Plant Protein Bundt Cake Recipe
Come on, we can't always be 100% clean eaters right? This plant based bundt cake recipe mixes things up a bit with a stack of nutritional goodness with a bit of naughty indulgence thrown in as well. Who else loves chocolate and caramel mixed together?
Serves 8 | V GF RSF
Ingredients:
½ cup chickpea flour
½ cup almond meal
½ cup cacao powder
¼ cup chocolate protein powder
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
Pinch salt
3 ripe bananas mashed
2 tbsp maple syrup
¾ cup plant based milk (@ulu_hye)
Handful dark chocolate chips
Toppings:
Caramel chocolate (@theveganbox)
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C
2. Grease bundt cake pan
3. In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and stir together
4. Add the wet ingredients and thoroughly combine
5. Stir through chocolate chips
6. Fill each bundt cake
7. Bake in the oven for around 25 mins until golden and cooked through
8. Allow to cool and firm
9. Melt chocolate and drizzle over bundt cakes
