Protein supplements using LactoSpore®
In our new premium protein supplement range we included two new elements, the first being a Digezyme digestive enzymes and the second is LactoSpore® which is a probiotic. LactoSpore® is a clinically validated and commercial probiotic containing L(+) lactic acid producing microbial preparation from Bacillus coagulans, MTCC 5856 (earlier known to be Lactobacillus sporogenes).
Putting the definitions aside probiotics are live bacteria that line your digestive tract, often called “good” or “helpful” bacteria because of their overall supportive role in helping to restore the composition of the gut microbiome.
What this can help do is create a better internal environment in your gut to help introduce beneficial functions like nutrient absorption, healing of digestive issues, supporting your general well being.
Why would you need to improve gut health?
The human digestive tract contains about 400 different bacterial species that reduce the growth of harmful bacteria and promote a healthy digestive system with lactic acid producing bacteria are the largest inhabitant group amongst all. LactoSpore® produces L(+) lactic acid, grows in the temperature range of 35 °C to 50 °C and the optimum pH range is 5.5–6.5.
What is happening in today's society generally speaking is that maintaining a normal, healthy and balanced microbial population (EUBIOSIS) in the gastro-intestinal tract is a difficult task.
So for some people the logical approach is to try and restore this balance with naturally occurring microorganisms. So that is where our latest product comes in, to provide assistance in achieving that.
